Dollar Store Home Decor

I got this little frame from the Dollar Store a while ago.  I thought it would be perfect to hold a dried flower my mom saved from my wedding bouquet that I never got around to doing anything with.
I don't know how the fragile petals survived for four years with only a ziploc bag to protect them, but I'm glad they did!

I painted the frame a sage green (although it doesn't look very green in the picture) with some stuff I already had and then added glaze on top with some leftover stuff I used for my recipe card holder.  I then added  scrapbook paper from my scrap paper pile for the back and wah la!
A cute and sentimental decoration for a buck!  I love the dollar store.

That's a cute idea. I've never even thought of framing pressed flowers.
