Another Car Seat Canopy

I know, I know.  These have been around forever but it doesn't make them any less cute! :o)  Here is another car seat canopy I made for a gift.  I love the fabric, they are both from Amy Butler's Love collection.  I have a little bit left that I can't wait to use up on who knows what.
To make a car seat canopy, you basically just need to know the measurements for the main blanket and then from there just do whatever you want.
I did patchwork straps on this one because I wanted the cute polk-a-dots to show.  Here you can find the cover I made for my daughter's car seat and a few links to tutorials to make your own!

  2. Such a clever idea. I will add it to my list of things I can make for one of my SIX pregnant friends. (I was running short on different ideas).

  4. Just found you on Sew much Ado! Love your blog!!! We have a lot in common! I love to cook & sew as well! I JUST made this cover last week using an Amy Butler flannel that I fell in love with and it has dots on the back as well! (Expecting my 3rd in November) I cheated and used coordinating ribbon for my ties and just sewed them on! Can't WAIT to check out all your other fun stuff!!! :)
